App: Temp Mail - Disposable Email (Google Play package com.newagedevs.temp_mail)
Developer: NewAgeDevs (Md. Imam Hossain), Bangladesh
Contact: imamagun94@gmail.com
This Privacy Policy explains how Temp Mail - Disposable Email (“Temp Mail”, “we”, “the App”) handles information when you use our application. We are committed to transparency and minimal data collection. This version replaces the policy dated 3 June 2026. Use of the App is also governed by our Terms & Conditions.
1. Summary
- NewAgeDevs runs no servers for this App and has no user accounts. We never receive your temporary addresses, their passwords, or the emails sent to them.
- Your temporary inboxes are provided by Mail.tm, an independent third-party service. Mail.tm holds each address, its password and every message it receives (section 2.3).
- The list of your temporary accounts, including their passwords and access tokens, and your settings are kept on your device in the App's private storage (section 2.2).
- The free version shows ads served by AppLovin MAX and the ad networks it works with. These companies collect your device's advertising ID and similar device data (section 3.1). Buying Premium stops the App from loading ads.
- The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting or push-messaging SDK, and no Firebase.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, real email address, or contact details
- Precise (GPS) location — the App has no location permission
- Phone number
- Contacts or calendar data
- Photos, files, or media — the App has no storage permission; attachments you choose to download are saved into the App's own folder
2.2 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage, and is never sent to NewAgeDevs. Account credentials are sent only to Mail.tm, to open your inbox.
- Your temporary email accounts: address, Mail.tm account ID, password, access token, creation and last sign-in times, and whether you chose the username yourself
- The ID of the newest message already seen for each address, so the same email is not notified twice
- App preferences (theme, language) and your Premium status
- Ad and prompt counters: the time the last app-open ad was shown, how many times the inbox has loaded (used to ask once for a Google Play rating), and whether the battery-optimisation tip has been shown
- Attachments you download, saved in a folder that belongs to the App on your device's storage
Received messages are not saved on your device; the App fetches them from Mail.tm each time you open an inbox.
This storage is protected by Android's per-app sandbox, which stops other apps from reading it. The App does not add its own encryption on top. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this data in your device backup to your Google account, which is handled by Google.
2.3 Email Data (via Mail.tm)
Temp Mail is an app for the Mail.tm temporary-email service, which is run by a third party not affiliated with NewAgeDevs. When you create an address, the App registers an account with Mail.tm (api.mail.tm) using a random username and password generated on your device, or a username you choose. If you sign in to an existing Mail.tm account, the address and password you enter are sent to Mail.tm in the same way.
Temporary email addresses, their passwords, received messages, and attachments are stored on Mail.tm servers, not NewAgeDevs servers. The App reads your messages from api.mail.tm and, while it is open, receives new-message alerts from Mail.tm's live-update service (mercure.mail.tm). As with any online service, Mail.tm can see your IP address when the App connects. All of this traffic uses HTTPS.
Mail.tm states that it keeps messages for 7 days and that a mailbox remains valid until it is deleted. When you delete an account in the App, the App asks Mail.tm to delete that account and its messages. We do not control Mail.tm and cannot retrieve, restore or delete data on its behalf. Mail.tm's privacy practices are described at https://mail.tm/en/privacy/.
Temporary addresses are not private. Mail.tm's domains are shared by all of its users, anyone who knows an address can send mail to it, and anyone who has an address and its password can read its inbox. Do not use a temporary address for sensitive mail.
HTML emails. The App displays formatted emails with JavaScript turned off, and opens links in your browser. Images in an email are loaded from the sender's servers when you open it. As in most email apps, this can let the sender see your IP address and that the message was opened.
2.4 Notifications
New-email notifications are created on your device. While the App is open it listens for Mail.tm's live updates. In the background, Android's WorkManager checks Mail.tm for new mail about every 15 minutes. No push-notification service (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging) is used, and nothing passes through NewAgeDevs. Depending on your Android settings, a notification can show the sender, subject and first line of the email on your lock screen.
2.5 Feedback Emails
The Feedback screen opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to imamagun94@gmail.com. The message contains your text plus the App version, your device model and Android version. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself. If you do, we receive your email address and whatever you wrote.
3. Third-Party SDKs
3.1 AppLovin MAX (Advertising)
The App uses AppLovin MAX to show native, interstitial and app-open ads to free users. AppLovin passes each ad request to its own exchange and to the following ad networks, all of which are built into the App:
| Network | Privacy policy |
|---|---|
| AppLovin (MAX and AppLovin Exchange) | https://www.applovin.com/privacy/ |
| Meta Audience Network | https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ |
| InMobi | https://www.inmobi.com/privacy-policy |
| Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) | https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/ |
| Mintegral | https://www.mintegral.com/en/privacy |
To choose, show and measure ads, and to prevent ad fraud, these companies may collect:
- Advertising ID (Android advertising ID)
- IP address, and the approximate location it implies
- Device information such as model, operating system version, language, screen and network type
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) and ad-performance diagnostics
We do not receive or store this data. It is processed by AppLovin and the networks above under their own policies. The advertising ID can be used to personalise ads.
Your choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device. You will still see ads, but they will not be personalised. Once Premium is active the App stops loading ads, and from the next launch it does not start the advertising SDK at all.
3.2 Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)
Premium is a one-time “lifetime” purchase that is processed entirely by Google Play. The App receives from Google Play, on your device, whether you own the purchase, and saves your Premium status locally. Each time it starts, the App asks Google Play to restore your purchases. We do not receive your payment details. Google provides developers with order records for its sales, which we use only to handle orders and refunds.

3.3 Google Play Services
The App uses Google Play's In-App Review feature to ask you, once, to rate the App. Google handles the review, and we see only the public rating you post. The App does not include Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, or any other analytics or crash-reporting service.
4. Permissions
The App requests the following Android permissions:
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Fetch emails from Mail.tm and display ads |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Check for a connection before checking mail; used by the ad SDKs |
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE | Added by the ad network SDKs to read the Wi-Fi connection state when delivering ads |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Notify you of new emails and show attachment download progress |
VIBRATE | Vibrate on new email notification |
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | Reschedule the background mail check after the device restarts |
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SHORT_SERVICE | Used by Android's WorkManager library to finish background mail checks |
com.android.vending.BILLING | Buy and restore Premium through Google Play |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Lets the ad SDKs read the advertising ID (section 3.1) |
com.android.vending.CHECK_LICENSE | Declared by the AppLovin SDK for a Google Play licence check |
com.amazon.privacypass.ATTEST | Declared by the Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) SDK for ad-fraud checks on Amazon devices |
The App does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone or storage permissions. The App may suggest, once, that you exclude it from battery optimisation so background mail checks are not delayed. It does this by opening Android's own settings screen, and the choice is yours. We do not request permissions beyond what is necessary for the App’s core functionality and its advertising.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at imamagun94@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.
6. Data Security
Temporary account credentials are kept in the App's private storage on your device, which Android isolates from other apps. The App does not encrypt them further, so anyone with full access to your unlocked device, or to a backup of it, could read them. We do not transmit these credentials to our servers; we have none. Communication with Mail.tm is performed over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
- Local device data: Retained until you delete the account in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.
- Mail.tm email data: Messages are kept by Mail.tm for 7 days, according to Mail.tm. An address remains on Mail.tm until it is deleted. Deleting an account in the App asks Mail.tm to delete it and its messages. If you uninstall the App or clear its data without deleting your accounts first, the addresses stay on Mail.tm, and the App can no longer delete them because their passwords were stored only on your device.
- Ad data: Managed by AppLovin and its partner networks under their own data retention policies.
- Feedback emails: Kept only as long as needed to answer you.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws, including:
- Right to know what data is collected
- Right to delete your data (delete accounts in the App to remove Mail.tm data)
- Right to opt out of personalized advertising (via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads)
We hold no personal data about you apart from any email you send us, so most requests can be fulfilled by deleting your accounts within the App. For data held by Mail.tm or the advertising networks, contact those companies under their own policies, linked above. You can ask us at any time to delete correspondence you have sent us.
9. International Users
The App is developed in Bangladesh. Mail.tm and the advertising networks operate servers in other countries, so data they process may be transferred to and handled in countries other than your own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and significant changes will be noted in the App's release notes on Google Play. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
