By downloading, installing or using the Fb Video Downloader app (formerly listed as “Video Downloader for FB”), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. You are not allowed to copy, modify or distribute the app, any part of it, or our trademarks. These terms replace the version dated 26 May 2026. Your use of the app is also covered by our Privacy Policy and our End User License Agreement.

1. Important disclaimer and copyright compliance

Fb Video Downloader is an independent utility that saves media to your own device. We respect intellectual property rights and follow the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

No official affiliation: We are not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. “Facebook” and related names are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.
Ownership of content: All videos, photos, Reels, Stories and Watch content on Facebook belong to their publishers, creators or copyright owners. We respect their rights and interests.
Personal, non-commercial use only: The app helps you save media for your own personal, non-commercial, offline use.
Your responsibility: You alone are responsible for the media you download, view or share with the app. You must have the permission of the creator or copyright owner before downloading, sharing or reusing their content.
Intellectual property violations: NewAgeDevs is not liable for copyright strikes, intellectual property claims, account suspensions or bans, or legal action taken against you by anyone because of what you download, misuse or redistribute.
Credit the creator: We strongly recommend crediting the original creator and linking back to the source whenever you use or share downloaded media.

2. Your Facebook account and the in-app browser

Public videos can be downloaded without signing in. To download private videos or Stories, you may sign in to Facebook in the app's built-in browser. You sign in with Facebook directly, and Facebook's Terms of Service apply to your account and to how you use it.
Facebook may restrict, limit or disable accounts that it considers to be using third-party tools. You use the in-app browser and the app's download features with your account at your own risk. Only download content you are allowed to see and have permission to save.
You can remove your Facebook session from the app at any time with Clear cookies in the menu.

3. Usage rules and restrictions

By using the app, you agree that you will not:

Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, our link-lookup service, or the services it connects to.
Use the app to copy, store, host, transmit, send, publish or distribute any material that consists of (or is linked to) spyware, computer viruses, Trojan horses, worms, keystroke loggers, rootkits or other malicious software.
Reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code from, or modify the app's binaries or components.
Bypass or circumvent any technical measures or limits in the app or on the source platforms, including access controls on content you are not allowed to see.
Abuse the referral programme or rewards, for example by using fake or automated installs to collect bonuses.

4. Premium, subscriptions and in-app purchases

The app is free to download and shows ads. Optional Premium plans remove ads, unlock higher download resolutions (1080p, 2K and 4K) and give unlimited Advanced Search. Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app and on Google Play before you buy.

Google Play Billing: All purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing subscriptions: You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The app also links to that page. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime purchase: A lifetime purchase is tied to the Google account that bought it and can be restored on a new device signed in to the same account. If you buy lifetime access while a subscription is still active, cancel the subscription in Google Play so you are not charged again.
Refunds: Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policies. Contact Google Play support, or email us and we will help where we can.

5. Free features, trials and rewards

Free users can download up to 720p and get a daily allowance of free Advanced Searches. Higher resolutions, extra Advanced Searches and Premium trial time can be unlocked by watching rewarded ads, within the daily limits shown in the app.
Through Invite and Earn, you and a friend who installs the app with your referral code both receive bonus Advanced Searches.
Trials, credits, bonuses and referral rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and are kept on your device once received, so they are lost if you clear the app's data or uninstall it. We may change the amounts or end these programmes at any time.

6. Third-party services and terms

The app uses third-party services for advertising, analytics, notifications, payments and link lookups. These are listed with their privacy policies in our Privacy Policy. Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms, including:

7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Facebook can change its website at any time, and any change may stop some or all download features from working until the app is updated. We do not guarantee that any particular video or quality can be downloaded.

To the extent permitted by law, NewAgeDevs, its developers and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, account bans or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the app.
Any content obtained or downloaded through the app.
Unauthorised access to, use of, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Slow downloads or service interruptions caused by source platforms changing their websites or APIs.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top always shows the current version. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
