This End User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a binding legal agreement between you (the “End User” or “Licensee”) and NewAgeDevs (the “Licensor”) for the use of the mobile application Hd Video Downloader (formerly listed as “Story Video Downloader for the Facebook app”), including all updates, features and documentation (together, the “Software”).

By downloading, installing, copying or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download, install or use the Software. This Agreement applies together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to:

Download, install and use the Software on mobile devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Use the Software only for your personal, non-commercial and private purposes.

All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved by NewAgeDevs. Premium features bought through Google Play are licensed to you on the same terms, for the period of your subscription or, for a lifetime purchase, for as long as the Software is available.

2. License restrictions

You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:

Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt, attempt to derive the source code of, or modify the Software.
Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense or commercially exploit the Software.
Remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices in the Software.
Use the Software for any purpose that breaks local, national or international law, including intellectual property and copyright law.
Use automated systems, scripts, scrapers or other tools to harvest data through the Software, to call its link-lookup service outside the app, or to interact with the Software in any other unauthorised way.

3. Intellectual property rights and copyright policy

Ownership of the Software: The Software, including its design, structure, graphics, animations, code and interfaces, is the exclusive intellectual property of NewAgeDevs. Owning, installing or using the Software does not give you any title to those intellectual property rights.
Third-party trademarks: “Facebook”, “FB”, “Reels”, “Stories” and related brand assets are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. The Software is an independent tool and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or licensed by Meta Platforms, Inc.
Copyrighted media: The Software lets you download media (videos, Reels, Stories and photos) hosted on third-party servers. That media belongs to its creators or publishers. You must not use the Software to download copyrighted material without the necessary rights, permission or license from its owner. You assume all legal and financial liability for any copyright infringement or unauthorised use of downloaded media.

You agree that the Software may use the third-party services described in our Privacy Policy — advertising networks mediated by AppLovin MAX, Google Firebase, Google Play services and our link-lookup service — and that these services may collect and use technical data about your device, system and use of the Software, for advertising, analytics, notifications, purchases and providing the download features. Where the law requires your consent for personalised advertising, the Software asks for it before ads are loaded. All such data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Term and termination

This Agreement takes effect when you first install or use the Software and remains in effect until terminated.
Your rights under this license end automatically, without notice from the Licensor, if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement.
When this Agreement ends, you must stop all use of the Software and uninstall it from your devices.
The provisions on intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability and indemnification survive termination.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT IT WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. CHANGES TO THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS, THEIR APIS OR THEIR POLICIES MAY MAKE THE DOWNLOAD FEATURES TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY UNAVAILABLE, AND THE LICENSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH OUTAGES.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NEWAGEDEVS OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER — INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ACCOUNT BANS OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SOFTWARE, HOWEVER CAUSED AND WHATEVER THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NewAgeDevs, its officers, developers and partners from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your misuse of the Software, your breach of this Agreement, or your infringement of any third party's intellectual property or copyright.

9. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence or the registration jurisdiction of the Licensor, excluding its conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Licensor's primary jurisdiction. Nothing in this Agreement limits any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
