These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shortly mobile application (the “App”) provided by NewAgeDevs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Shortly is a tool that creates short links through third-party URL-shortening services, expands short links to show where they lead, shows a QR code for each link, and keeps a history of your links on your device.

We do not operate a URL-shortening service. Every short link is created, stored and redirected by the service you choose in the App, not by us.

Shortly is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TinyURL, Bitly, Cutt.ly, CleanURI, Yandex (Clck.ru), is.gd, da.gd, osdb.link or OpenSubtitles. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Third-party shortening services

When you shorten a link, you are using the selected service, and its terms apply to that link in addition to these Terms:

• Clck.ru (Yandex Clicker): https://yandex.ru/legal/clck_termsofuse/
• is.gd: https://is.gd/terms.php
• Da.gd and osdb.link do not publish terms of use. Osdb.link only accepts opensubtitles.org and opensubtitles.com links.

Each service decides for itself whether to create, keep or serve a link. A service may refuse a link, limit how many you can create, disable, delete or redirect a link (for example because it reports spam, malware or a breach of its terms), change its interface, or shut down — at any time and without notice to us or to you. When that happens, the link may stop working or a service may stop working in the App.

We cannot edit, restore, extend or delete links held by a service. Deleting a link from the App's history removes it from your device only. Links created in your own TinyURL, Bitly or Cutt.ly account can be managed in that account; for anything else, contact the service.

3. API keys and the built-in Cutt.ly key

You may enter your own API key or access token for TinyURL, Cutt.ly or Bitly. You are responsible for that key, for the account it belongs to, and for following that service's terms and limits. The key is stored on your device and sent only to the service it belongs to.

If you use Cutt.ly without your own key, the App uses a key that belongs to us, and the link is created in our Cutt.ly account. That key is provided for normal personal use of the App. We may change, limit or withdraw it at any time, and we may disable links created with it that break these Terms. See the Privacy Policy for what this means for your data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Comply with the terms of the shortening service you use through the App.

You agree that you will not use the App to shorten or share links that:

• Lead to malware, phishing, scams, fraud or other harmful content.
• Lead to illegal content, including content that sexually exploits children.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights.
• Are used to send spam, or to harass, threaten or deceive people — including hiding a link's real destination to mislead them.

You also agree that you will not:

• Use the App to create links in bulk or by automated means, or try to get around a service's rate limits.
• Extract the App's built-in API key or use it outside the App.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the App or its advertising.

You are solely responsible for the links you create and share, and for what they point to.

5. Link expander

The link expander follows a short link's redirects to show its final destination. It is a convenience, not a security check: it does not scan destinations for malware or phishing, and it may not detect every kind of redirect. Expanding a link makes a request to that link and to each address it redirects to, which the link's owner may record as a visit. Use your own judgement before opening any link.

6. Advertising and Remove Ads

The App is free and supported by advertising delivered through AppLovin MAX and the partner networks built into the App (Meta Audience Network, InMobi and Liftoff/Vungle). See our Privacy Policy for details on how ad data is handled.

You may make a one-time “Remove Ads” purchase, which removes ads from the App for the Google account that bought it. It does not change which shortening services are available. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms; refunds are handled according to Google Play policy. Purchases are restored automatically when you use the App with the same Google account.

7. Your data

Your link history, settings and any API keys you enter are stored on your device. We do not keep a copy and cannot recover them if you clear the App's data, uninstall the App or lose your device. How the App handles information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any shortening service will be available, that any short link will keep working or keep pointing to the same destination, or that the link expander will find a link's true destination.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NewAgeDevs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App — including links that a service refuses, disables, deletes or redirects, the content of any website a link leads to, and how you or others use the links you create.

10. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App, any feature, or any shortening service in it, at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Links you have already created are held by the shortening services and remain subject to their terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
